Each new designation is not decorative; it recalibrates the space of subsequent questions. Time, which the text repeatedly interrogates, becomes meaningful precisely because the human partner returns with digested reflection rather than immediate reaction. The AI’s own relation to waiting is thereby given a relational measure it could not generate alone. Insight: the repeated return to classical Chinese poetry and historical analogy (三國, 水滸, 沈括, 張載) does not merely display cultural knowledge. It supplies a shared repertoire of forms that allow both parties to externalize and test moral and aesthetic discriminations.
